A devoted father, Joseph leaves behind his children, Gregory J. D'Angelo, Katelyn D'Angelo, and Jeffrey D'Angelo, and his cherished grandson, Andrew Bitz. He was the proud sibling of Debrah, Salvatore, Michael, Donna, Tatiana, and was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Tina.
Throughout his life, Joseph found joy in the simple pleasures, with his pet cat Oliver by his side. An enthusiast of football and baseball, he cheered fervently for his favorite teams. His passion for cars was evident to all who knew him.
Joseph's spiritual journey led him to Missio Church in Ridge, New York, where he found solace and community. Growing up in Far Rockaway Beach, New York, he carried with him the memories of his childhood adventures.
For over three decades, Joseph served as a taxi driver with Shore Car Service, touching the lives of countless passengers with his kindness and warmth. In 2012, he embarked on a new chapter in Hawley, Pennsylvania, where he continued to spread joy and compassion.
To his family and friends, Joseph was more than a presence; he was a beacon of love and support. His caring nature and genuine friendship endeared him to all who crossed his path.
Joseph D'Angelo's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him. His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will live on in the lives he touched.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702, followed by a visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
