Josephine Conroy Obrig

Josephine Conroy Obrig of Bay Shore, New York, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on November 27, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, Josephine was the beloved daughter of Daniel Conroy and Aida Lopez.

She spent her life surrounded by love, family, and the vibrant energy she brought to everything she did.

For 50 devoted years, she was the cherished wife of David Obrig, with whom she built a life full of laughter, strength, and unwavering companionship. She was also a loving sister to her brother Daniel, with whom she shared a deep and lifelong bond.

Josephine had a keen eye for beauty and expression, which shone through her love of fashion and jewelry. Whether she was selecting the perfect accessory or offering advice on a stylish outfit, her impeccable taste and joy for life were evident to all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Josephine’s legacy of elegance, warmth, and grace will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A visitation for Josephine will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702.
