Josephine "Fina" Eiermann

Josephine "Fina" Eiermann (nee Rios), 90, of Bay Shore, entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Predeceased by her husband, Richard H.A. Eiermann, in 1989. Devoted mother of Melody Cesare, Valerie Abalco, and Darren Eiermann. Loving mother-in-law of Peter Cesare and Marco Abalco. Adored grandmother of Jesse Eiermann, Eric Abalco (Angelyse), Darleen Eiermann, Nicholas Cesare (Katylynne), Jason Eiermann, Alexander Cesare, and Nicole Abalco. Cherished great-grandmother of Julian Eiermann and Valentina Eiermann. Predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Restituta (Ramirez) Rios, and her brother, Ramon Rios. Fina was devoted to her family and was there to support them through any upheaval they had to face. A seamstress by trade, she also worked in the past as a nurse's aide. She was also a Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout Leader and relished creating memorable keepsakes in her hobbies which included crafts, knitting, crocheting, and sewing. On a side note, Fina had a prostitute's license (ask her children for stories about it.) Fina was a rare and exceptional person who will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Thursday, October 5, 2023, 2 p.m.-4:30 p.m. & 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Funeral mass 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2023, Fina's 91st Birthday, with interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
