Ligurio would often be seen displaying his honor for his country by sporting his WWII cap daily, along with his involvement with the American Legion throughout the years later in life. Ligurio was a man that loved to work with his hands, which shows through his occupations as a landscaper, mechanic and maintenance engineer during his life. A few of his hobbies which always had him involved with the outdoors, consisted of gardening, playing golf, flying planes and to those he held dear to his heart, being known as a ball buster.
