Loretto G. Dinardo, age 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home in Lindenhurst after a brave 2½ year battle with glioblastoma. Born in Amityville and a graduate of Copiague High School, class of ‘73, Loretto was the second youngest of four children.
She is predeceased by her mother, Joan O’Connell.
Loretto was the beloved wife of 40 years to husband Michael, much loved mother to children Danielle and Joseph, cherished sister to Randy, Diane, and Barbara, and proud grandmother to Caylee, Connor and Everleigh. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, kindness, honesty and creativity and will be dearly missed, forever in our hearts.
Friends may visit at the Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main Street, Babylon Village, NY on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30 from 2:00-4:30pm and 7:00-9:30pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 210 S Wellwood Ave, Lindenhurst, NY, on Monday at 9:45am. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
