Dear Andy, Joe,Matthew,Leighann & Apryl,
I met Lucy 18 months ago at MSKCC, where we were both being treated for cancer. Her engaging smile, compassion and zest for life touched my soul.
We continued to encourage each other as we went through our cancer journeys together. Lucy was, and still is, a joy to everyone she ever met.
We will all miss Lucy in our own special way. Lucy had a unique, loving, special way to touch everyone’s life. We will continue to feel her presence.

💕⭐️🦋 Heaven gained another angel way too soon ! Lucy I will never forget the day I met you. I was looking for a sign from heaven that your home was where my son was meant to be. We had the same Alex and Ani bracelet “Everything happens for a reason”, we had so many things in common, we talked for hours. When I saw the blue butterfly garden puck I told you that was the sign from my mom in heaven that she approves! You laughed and proudly showed me your blue butterfly ankle  tattoo and told me “I guess it was meant to be!” 🦋🦋🦋 Yes, we were meant to be friends, yes we were meant to be as close as family, yes we were meant to be in each other’s life,  I just thought it would have been for longer. Me and my family are grateful to have known you and to share so many special memories with you in such a short time. 💕May you Rest In Peace in heaven surrounded by your grandma, mom, and those who love you. I hope my mom also came to greet you because I know she would have loved you as much as I do. Until we meet again my dear friend. 💕🦋💕🦋

My deepest condolences to all of Lucy's family. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and most of all wife. She will forever be missed and thought of often. She was someone you know could always bring a smile to your face, and could always bring a positive vibe. She was kind and thoughtful, and my many interactions with her through the years will always be remembered and cherished. I love you guys. 

I will never forget Lucy's words of encouragement regarding a huge obstacle a family member of mine had gone through.  Her kind words warmed my heart . It will stick with me forever.  
Her beautiful smile lit up a room.  I will always remember how happy she was in Mexico at her sons wedding.  She will be so very missed. My life has been made better to have known her. Rest in peace sweet Lucy.

We spent a lot of our childhood together when the Volturo's would come to Brooklyn.... 

I wish we took more photos back then like we do today 😞 over the years I’ve said, ‘You  can never take enough pictures’  and I believe that’s true today ! Thank You Lucy for being a part of our lives I cant  imagine life with out you, you were always the bright light when we were together and even tho we drifted apart after we moved away 19 years ago our friendship was always important to me ! Thank God for FaceTime that I was able to see your bright smile xoxo I will miss you dearly my friend  💔 Until we meet again Rest Easy 😞
