Madelane Leyson

Madelane Leyson (nee Diel), 69, of West Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Beloved mother of Michelle & Michael Castellano, Brian & Neea Scimeca, and Heather & Anthony Suriano. Adored grandmother of Matthew, Marc, Mia, Briawna, Fionah, Maxwell, Destiny, Makayla, Anthony, Samantha, and Vincent. Cherished sister of Wilbert, Perlie, Evelyn, Alejandro, Roland "Roy," Dexter, Jonathan and the late Reynaldo. Also survived by her dearly loved pets Pierre, Rosie, and Neeko. Madelane was an acute care nursing assistant, a home healthcare aide, and a massage therapist. She was passionate about attending the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, meditation, shopping at Costco, and being a fashionista who adored spending time with her family and friends. Madelane will forever be remembered for being loving, gentle, selfless, humble, ambitious, caring, and non-judgmental. She was a mom to all and a role-model for her independence. An avid photographer, Madelane loved capturing images of the people and the events that she cherished most. In addition to this, she loved to meditate and listen to the Word of God in the Bible. She was gifted by maintaining a special and unique connection with each of her grandchildren. Madelane will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. The family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Saturday, April 1, 2023, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm & 7:00 pm-9:30 pm.
