To the Klammer family…
My name is Dan Brennan and my heart is truly broken having just learned of Marylou’s passing Thursday last and I’ve been in total shock.
Marylou and I became good friends nearly 23 years ago starting with a professional and, as it turned out to be, a very friendly work connection. Marylou’s always (well, almost always) pleasant and humorous way led us to become great friends. 
She was there for me when I lost my sister and then 5 months later a younger brother passed. Three weeks later I lost my older brother very suddenly and I crumbled. With no siblings left Marylou gave me so much more than a compassionate ear and shoulder, she helped talk me through the most depressing time of my life. She’s never at a loss for words as you all know.
Although I haven’t met any of her family members or friends she often spoke of each one of you from Lou to Nicole and Brian through trips, weddings, holidays, special occasions and five beautiful grandchildren. 
I have an incredibly great sorrow for her loving family and friends.

I was Mary Louise’s roomie at St. Charles Rehab during the month of September. Nurses there had a feeling we would get along with each other, so they schemed to put us together when Mary Lou’s first roommate was discharged. We were similar ages and both also recuperating from spine surgery. Once I met her I  knew the nurses were right. We literally laughed together, cried together, moaned about PT together, busted the nurses’ & aides’ chops constantly, & we enjoyed watching LaBrea & DWTS together. We talked about keeping in touch. I’ve been thinking about MaryLouise so much lately,  and today, just for the heck of it, checked to see if she had a Facebook acct, & my heart sunk. I’m so very sorry. What a treasure you all lost.

What a great lady and wonderful person. Always with a smile. Always looked forward to seeing Marylou and her husband Lou at the family parties and functions.  Had the good fortune of meeting and knowing the Klammers  through my niece who married their son Brian. Marylou added brightness and life to every room she walked in to.  A really beautiful person who will be missed greatly. My deepest and sincere condolences to the family.

I will always remember Mrs. Marylouise Klammer with great affection, I am very grateful that when I was an aupair for her grandchildren (Jack and Alex) she was very kind and affectionate to me, I still have a beautiful heart bracelet that she gave me and I keep it, I will always be grateful to know her and her beautiful family, especially her beautiful daughter Nicole and grandchildren Jack and Alex and son in law Alan that I know they will be greatly missed.

My Dear Cousin
This is so hard to write.  I am thinking of all the times in our lives that we laughed together, and yes, cried together. There have been so many losses, and yet we managed to get thru them….together. This will be a tough one though.. Today we mourn your loss. You will be missed more than you could ever know. So many people have expressed what you meant to them. You made a lasting impression on everyone you knew. 
I love you now and forever, Mar. Rest now and let God’s love surround you.

Dear Lou, Nicole, and Brian,

We are so sorry to hear about Mary Lou. We have so many memories of years ago-watching our boys grow up. How many baseball and basketball games we shared!  Mary Lou was always so good natured and lively!  We know that she will be so missed by all of you! Please know you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Klammer family,  I am so sorry that you are going through this difficult time.   I knew MaryLou in high school and got to meet  her at some special occasions.  May you all find comfort remembering the good memories because they outweigh the sad memories. God bless her and you all. 


We were close neighbors years ago on Edward Ave.   I will always remember that Halloween party and the many neighborhood events when we were all newlyweds.
Marylou was always good natured to all and eager to help. Always a kind word for everyone. 
She will be missed.

MaryLou you were always there for me for years you were a only a phone call away i am so happy these last 3 plus years we got to see each other more i love you my sister 

I was proud to call you my aunt . Every memory with you involves smiles , laughter , love and some interesting adventures ( leather, I have a phone plan , olive oil, rubber snakes , vodka ( shhhh our secret)! You always said if Nicole and I were sisters (the trouble we would have gotten in). You were the best , I love you and I will never forget you !  My memories  with you  will always make me smile❤️

Talked everyone into stopping at a brewery in Virginia and try a flight of IPAs. Every sample was horrible but Marylou tried everyone.  She yelled at me after each one but she tried them❤️

Marylou was soo happy that  Nicole and her family came for Christmas Eve  2021. 

Lou, Nicole and Brian, the Klein family is heartbroken to hear of MaryLou’s passing. She was a force of nature and will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her. Stu and I send much love and hugs. 💙Esther

There are just no words I can say that can tell you how very sorry my family and I are about the loss of Mary Lou.  Just recently I actually found out she was sick.  My heart aches for all of you, as I know how loss brings you to your knees.  I know in my heart she is at peace and will be greeted not only by her family who have passed  but by Donny who will surely give her a hug and help her as know is he is helping all of you, especially you..Lou, getting through this terrible time.  God bless all of you, may he  bring you peace and  know she will never leave your sides. Love is forever and never dies.

We met at work over 35 years ago and shared so many good and bad times throughout the years. We solved both our own problems and the problems of the world sitting in the den drinking endless cups of tea.  I will miss your smile, laughter and loving heart. The heavens have a beautiful angel today, and the world is losing the most beautiful woman with the most loving heart. I know my tears can't erase the pain of losing you . RIP, I love and miss you my friend. May God bless you and your wonderful family.

Mary Lou and I were cancer warriors.  I called her often in the hospital to make her laugh and support her through this tough time.  We would facetime and tell each other how good we looked in spite of cancer. We laughed and cried during our nightly calls.  When she was down I reminded her that she was a warrior and gave her a necklace that said WARRIOR.  Although we knew one another, it was cancer that brought us close.  Cancer brought us together and ultimately separated us.  Rest in peace my fellow warrior and I'll think of you each night during "facetime" call time.


We will miss you immensely my friend. R.I.P. until we meet again.

I've never been good with words Mary Lou you are going to truly be missed we have been friends for nearly 40 years we've always had good times together even got in trouble together especially when the men went hunting. Through thick and thin even if we didn't see each other all the the time we were just a phone call away and you know I would come running.
