Michael A. Grant

Michael A. Grant, 73, of West Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on March 3, 2023. Proud USMC Veteran of the Vietnam War. Beloved husband of 50 years to Rosa L. Grant. Devoted father of Tywona, Michelle, and Chrisanna. Adored grandfather of 7. Cherished brother of Alexandria Hinson and Charles W. Grant, Jr. Retired from Verizon in Brooklyn, New York. An active member of his community of West Babylon, Michael was a member of the Civic Association, the Y.M.C.A., and created an open gym at P.J. Brennan J.H.S. for the kids of the community to play basketball and other sports. His hobbies included boating, fishing, swimming, video-recording, playing the piano, attending antique car shows, and truly relishing the time he spent with his grandchildren. Michael will be forever loved and deeply missed by every life that he touched. The Grant family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Saturday, March 11, 2023, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Religious service to follow at the funeral home 11 a.m. Interment to follow at 1:45 p.m. with full military honors at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
