Mildred Krupp

Mildred Krupp of North Babylon, New York, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on May 31, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Otto Weinmann and Helene Kaiser.

Mildred was the loving wife of the late Larry Krupp, who predeceased her on January 31, 2007. Together, they shared 58 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Mildred was the devoted mother of the late Larry H. Krupp (Ruth Ann) and Nancy M. Sitone-Schultz (John Schultz, son-in-law) & (the late Robert Sitone, son-in-law). Through marriage, she was a proud grandmother to Eric and Evan Schultz, and a delighted great-grandmother to Abigail Schultz.

A homemaker at heart, Mildred devoted her life to her family and home. Her beloved pet Annie was the joy of her later years. Mildred’s hands were always busy, as she enjoyed creating beautiful ceramics and crocheting lap blankets for veterans, a cause she held dear.

Her social life was vibrant, and she was an active member of the "Prominadors" square dancing group in Whiting, New Jersey, where she served as the past Vice President. She also cherished weekly canasta games with friends from her square dancing group.

Mildred will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A woman of grace, kindness, and warmth, she leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will forever be remembered.

A visitation for Mildred will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. A visitation will occur Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. A religious service will occur Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. A burial will occur Monday, February 10, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, Wading River, NY 11792.
