Nancy P. Miles

Ms. Nancy P. Miles, age 80, of West Babylon, New York, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Mr. Theophilus Miles, on April 4, 1996, after 34 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Mrs. Alicia Shepherd (Mr. Wendell Shepherd), Mrs. Nicole Gonzalez (Mr. Fausto Gonzalez), Ms. Michele Miles, the late Mr. Theodore Miles (deceased June 18, 1997), Mr. Raymond Miles, Ms. Cassandra Miles and Mr. Phillip Miles. Adored grandmother of the late John Ogundipe (deceased May 25, 2016), Jade Clayton, Dakota Miles, Jon-Aisia Crosby, Raymond Miles, Jr., Rachel Calhoun, Arianna Gonzalez, Noelle Gonzalez, and great-grandmother of June Phelps. Cherished sister of Ms. Edith Parrish, Mrs. Millie Hare, Mr. Jesse Thompson, Mr. Michael Thompson, Mr. John Thompson, and Mr. Neil Thompson. The daughter of the late Mrs. Esther Thompson and the late Mr. Cornelius Thompson, Nancy was known by many and loved by all who will forever remember her for her infectious laughter, as well as for her love for gardening, knitting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, and writing. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, NY. Funeral service at the funeral home at 11 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2023, with interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Following the interment, a memorial service will take place at 2:30 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 73 Forest Avenue, West Babylon, NY.
