February 24, 1945 – December 27, 2020
ROBERT “BOB” GREENFIELD, age 75, of West Babylon, NY (formerly of Massapequa, NY), on December 27, 2020. He was the loving husband of Christine Greenfield (deceased July 2015). He is survived by his children, Gregory (Krista), Michael, and Kelly. In addition to his studies at Villanova and Fordham Universities, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the 11th Light Infantry Brigade in the Army from 1966-1968. Bob worked with insurance benefits and founded his company, All Employee Benefits, in 1984. He served as the President and governing member of the New York chapter and adviser to the National chapter of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (C.E.B.S.). In addition to being their mentor, he served as a coach for his children’s sports teams and made sure never to miss any of their events. “Pirate Bob” was an avid boater, spending as much time on the water as the weather allowed. He loved scuba diving and the Florida Keys, was a die-hard “Parrothead”, and enjoyed traveling. His grandparents’ home country, Ireland, was close to his heart, and he traveled there numerous times over his lifetime. He was always quick with a joke or to lend a hand. Bob was a beacon of light and will be missed by all who knew him.
