Dr. Robert John Marshall, age 63, of Hermosa Beach, California, went home to the Lord after a short battle with cancer. He was born on May 5, 1955 to the late Andrew and Pauline Marshall in Brooklyn, New York and was the youngest of their three children. Following his graduation from North Babylon Senior High School, he went on to earn a BS from SUNY Stony Brook and then attended medical school. He practiced anesthesiology in Southern California for 24 years. Robert became a dedicated Christian at an early age and his life was a testimony to his faith, which influenced many people’s lives. His love of life included a passion for tennis, love of family and a great sense of humor. Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Christina, brother, Dr. Clifford Marshall, and his wife, Dr. Linda Vachon, his sister, Claudia Marshall, and her husband, Peter Apers, and his three nephews, Peter, Andrew and Michael. Services were held at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home in Babylon, NY, on August 18, 2018.
