
Ruth H. Holpit, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was the devoted wife of Paul Holpit for 67 wonderful years, a loving partnership that was the cornerstone of her life.
Ruth is survived by her children: Susan and her husband Angelo Casaburri, Joyce and her husband James McNally, and Andrew and his wife Marjorie Ellen Holpit. She was a proud grandmother to Drew, Amanda and her husband Anthony Bishop, James, Angelo, Andrew, Ryan, and Paul. Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren: Anthony, JR, and Abigail.
Ruth was preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses: Carl and Toby Pearson, Evelyn and Frank Ferzoli, Elinor and George Graham, and Alan and Susan Pearson. She carried their memories fondly throughout her life.
Known for her gentle hands and generous heart, Ruth found joy in knitting, crocheting, quilting, and traveling. She was a devoted member of the St. John's Sewing Bee, St. John's Ladies Aid, Spangle Drive Senior Center, and the Eastern Star Retire Service, where she dedicated countless hours crafting and donating handmade blankets, baby items, prayer shawls, hats, and gloves for those in need. Her creative spirit and selfless service touched the lives of many in her community. She was an amazing gift of love and generosity.
Ruth will be remembered not only for the beautiful things she made, but for the warmth she gave to others. Her kindness, devotion to family, and giving heart will never be forgotten.
