Stephen passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, kindness, and unwavering strength. For 30 years, he was married to the love of his life, Debra, and together they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and deep companionship. Their greatest joy was their son, Zachary, whom Stephen treasured beyond measure.
A master mechanic by trade, Stephen could fix nearly anything, but his favorite and most cherished role was that of family man. Whether boating on the water, casting a line while fishing, enjoying a round of golf, or cooking up something delicious—especially on the grill—Stephen embraced life with enthusiasm and generosity. A former Boy Scout Troop leader, he carried the motto “Be Prepared” throughout his life, always ready to help those around him.
Stephen was the salt of the earth—steadfast, genuine, and loyal. To his family, he was the best father and husband anyone could ask for, and to friends and neighbors, he was someone you could always count on.
He is survived by his beloved wife Debra, his son Zachary, and his brother Robert. He also leaves behind his cherished pets: Saki the pupperoni, and Meeko and Celeste, his beloved cats. Stephen was predeceased by his sisters, Sandy and Shirley, whom he held close in memory.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his spirit will continue to guide and inspire those he loved.
