Thomas John McCarty Jr., age 63, of Huntington, New York passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. Thomas is survived by his loving children Kristina, Kaitlyn, Christopher, and Joseph; and his beloved brother Glenn. He was predeceased by his sister Linda; his mother Rena and his father Thomas Sr. Tom's Boundless interests and intelligence ran both far and deep. Only his comedic charm could eclipse his brilliance. This combination made for a captivating storyteller and admirable conversationalist. He enjoyed learning Mandarin, gardening, woodworking, and spending time at the casino. His input and stories will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Thomas will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 9:30 AM at St Joseph's RC Church, 39 North Carll Ave, Babylon, New York 11702. An interment will occur Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St Charles Cemetery, 2010 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11735.
