William was a proud father to his four children: Diane (Harry), Robert, Christine (Billy), and William, who preceded him in death. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in being a father, always offering support, guidance, and unconditional love.
An Army veteran, William served his country with honor. He spent his early years growing up in Rockaway Beach and later moved to Long Island after getting married, where he and his wife built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories.
Nothing meant more to William than time spent with his family. Whether it was the many family vacations they took together or the simple joy of gathering around the table for game nights, he treasured every moment. He loved bringing everyone together and making sure those around him felt loved and included. His greatest happiness came from watching his family grow and staying connected to each generation.
William was especially proud to be a grandfather and will always be remembered as the world’s best grandpa to his cherished grandchildren: Nicholas, John, Thomas, Patrick, Grace, Billy, Kayla, and Julianna. He loved each of them deeply and found great joy in their lives, accomplishments, and time spent together.
He is also survived by his loving siblings: Bobby (Debbie), Gail (Juan), and Jane, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
William will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his generous heart, and the countless memories he created with those he loved. His legacy lives on in the strong and loving family he helped build.
