Russell Eugene Moore

Russ was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Eugene and Hazel Moore on October 26, 1925. He passed away unexpectedly following surgery on July 13, 2011. He joined the US Navy on December 25, 1942 and was honorably discharged on December 26, 1946. He married his grade school sweetheart Margaret on September 13, 1944. He was a loving husband for sixty-six years and the proud father of 2 daughters, Carol Burkhead (deceased) and Janet Bellows and husband Mike. He had 3 grandchildren, Robert Goldsberry, wife Michele and children, Adrian, Austin and Jake; William Goldsberry and wife Shannon and children, Trevor and Emily; Brenda Garvin, and children, Jonathan, Kristi and Jennifer Schilly, and great-great granddaughter, Brooklyn Rayann. He was a very special man to so many and the only man Mom ever loved. Our dear Husband, Dad, Papa and Great Papa will be greatly missed forever.
