Virginia Margaret Ontiveros

Born January 8, 1938 in Picacho, New Mexico was a daughter of the late Albert and Adelina Kimbrell. She attended Picacho area schools. On November 14, 1956, she was united in marriage to Gurtis A. Ontiveros. They were married for 33 years before Gurtis preceded her in death on February 17, 1990.

Virginia was a LVN and worked for many years at Kern Medical Center, retiring in 2004. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children.

Virginia is survived by her 3 brothers and 2 sisters: her 2 daughters Yvonne Ontiveros and Catherine Ontiveros, 2 sons and their spouses, Charles and Dawn Ontiveros, Tim and Gloria Ontiveros.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gurtis A. Ontiveros.

Graveside Services for Virginia will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday May 24, 2011 at Greenlawn Southwest, 2739 Panama Lane.

Dr. David T. Goh, pastor at Garden Community Church in Bakersfield will officiate. Family and Friends are welcome at Mish Funeral Home at 120 Minner St. for viewing from 1:00-3:00 pm on Sunday May 22, 2011.
