Joseph M. Duffy passed away on April 14, 2025; beloved son of the late Edward and Concetta Duffy; loving father of Jennifer Duffy and her husband Bob Pfeiffer (Cockeysville); devoted brother of Sandy Fairman (nee Duffy) and her husband Robert Fairman (Parkville) and the late Connie Duffy; cherished uncle of CJ and Zack Monios.
Joe was a proud veteran who honorably served as a border guard in Korea. Upon his honorable discharge as a Sergeant in the United States Army, he started his career as a heavy equipment operator for Tidewater Equipment Company and belonged to Local 37 Union. He then spent the bulk of his career as an employee of the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed boating, fishing and vacationing in Ocean City. Joe loved dogs and held a special place in his heart for his beloved late retriever, Jessy.
A graveside service will be held at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mill, MD 21117 on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10:45am. A reception will be announced at a later date.
