Mary DiTommasso

She was born on November 20,1936 in North Carolina to the late Flora Butler Langley and Isaac Langley, Sr.

Mary is the beloved wife of the late Rocco DiTommasso, Sr.; devoted mother of Ron Fowler and his wife Leslie , Michelle M. Smith and her husband Bill ,Michael Fowler and his wife the late Monica, Lorraine F. Bartenfelder and her husband Don, Rocco DiTommasso III and his wife Kim , and the late Judy Henn and her husband Tim ; cherished grandmother of Jamie, Julie, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Kimberly, Broc, Michaela, Rachel, Ashley,Taylor and Noelle; great-grandmother of Cheyanne, Cameron, Eden, Aurelia, Nora, Dawson, Jaxson and Avery; dear sister of the late Edmond Langley, Eston Langley, Donald Langley, Leroy Langley, Buford Langley, Eula Mae Haney, and Eva Royston.

Mary worked as the Director of Food Service for Johns Hopkins University, and finished up her career as Director of Food Service at St. Mary's Seminary for many years.

She loved her garden - especially her roses, she was an avid volunteer with the Topper Majorette & Drum Corp, where as a Topper Mom she sewed hundreds of uniforms. She also made the best potato salad ever!

Above all, family was the most important part of Mary's life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, Inc., 3631 Falls Road on Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. , where Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday at 10 A.M.

Interment in Lake View Memorial Park.
