

Ronald was the oldest of 5; born on December 31, 1949, to Betty and Leroy Kelbaugh in Baltimore City, Maryland. After Ronald graduated from Baltimore City College in 1968.
He served 4 years of active duty in the United States Army. After he served our Country, Ron transitioned to the Maryland Casualty as a computer programmer, kickstarting a career of 51 years as a Computer System Analyst.
He was devoted to and survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon (Taylor) Kelbaugh. They met in the Hampden/ Medfield “On A Dare” as he was shy. Ron and Sharon went on to have two children, Scott and Stacey. Ron was an avid collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and model trains. In 2019, He retired from T. Rowe and spent his time with the Grandchildren, and his beloved Saint Bernard, Gardening, he loved to travel, was a "Handyman" to keep fixing things to break them again and built his beloved model train garden.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Leroy & Betty Kelbaugh.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, Son Scott his wife Angie, grandchildren Joshua, Andrew, Jacob, Ryan, Daughter Stacey, grandchildren Bailey, Derrick, Noah, Codee and Great Grandson Mordecai son of Bailey and Presleigh Todd.
Sister/ Brothers Lynda her husband Ronald Cashion, Gene and his wife Brenda Kelbaugh, Anna Mae and her husband Tim Umstot and Betty Lynn and her Husband Ronald Junkins. Godchild Brian Cashion. And several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ron looked for the best in all and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Ron's life held at Burgee’s Funeral Home 3631 Falls Road Baltimore, Maryland 21211 on Friday December 15th, 2023. View from 3 - 5 with the service at 4:00 pm and final viewing from 7 - 9. Casual attire is requested.
Interment private.
