She is a woman of intense faith, who loves music and singing her beautiful songs. Commonly referred to as Umi (a nickname for Mom and Grandmother), her presence will be dearly missed. May she be known by all as an amazing woman, the love of Kashaka's heart, and a Matriarch who instructed her children to be wise, respectful, kind, and full of laughter. She will be thought of each time a bird sings and by the sweet scent of blooming flowers.
She will be celebrated by her family and friends on June 13, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at Calvin B. Scruggs Funeral Home prior to a graveside committal service and dove release at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
