It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Harold Anderson, late of Barrhead, AB, announces his passing peacefully in the night on October 17, 2016 at the age of 84 years old. Harold will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving family, devoted wife of 59 years, Shirley Anderson, 2 children; Donna (Ken) Hiemstra of Spruce Grove, Diana Anderson of Spruce Grove, 5 grandchildren; Brett Measures (Venessa Rumsey) of Spruce Grove, Melissa (Lane) Dorval of Spruce Grove, Raymond Anderson of Edmonton, Danielle (Jacob) Kitts of Ottawa, ON, Kassidy (Kaleigh) Hiemstra of Barrhead, 12 great-grandchildren; Peyten Hanson, Carter Hanson, Alexander Measures, Cole Measures, Myra Dorval, Kruze Hiemstra, Kamryn Hiemstra, Reese Hiemstra, Sawyer Hiemstra, Lyla Kitts, Norah Kitts, Cormac Kitts; daughter-in-laws, Erin Anderson & Alma Woronuk as well as numerous friends and family members. Harold is predeceased by his parents; Martin & Margaret Anderson; sisters, Evelyn Polanik, Ethel Anderson; son-in-law, Andrew Measures and his son; David Anderson. Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday October 25th, 2016 at the United Church in Barrhead Alberta. Donations may be made to Barrhead Continuing Care or Charity of Choice.
