Edna Mae Dudenhoeffer

Edna Mae Dudenhoeffer, 89 years old passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, January 24, 2022 in the Dr. W.R. Keir Barrhead Continuing Care Centre. Edna was born in Black Diamond, AB on September 20, 1932. Edna is survived by her loving family; daughter Karen Beeson (Greg), son Barry Dudenhoeffer (Debbie), daughter-in-law Pat Dudenhoeffer, daughter Denise Husiman and daughter Leslie Dancause (Gilles); sister Betty Clennett and brother Ken Hurt. She has 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; many extended family members and dear friends. Edna was predeceased by her loving husband Fred, her son Brian Dudenhoeffer, step-sister Rose Burton, and her parents, Robert and Mary Hurt. Edna will be remembered for her dedication and love for her family, bright smile and quick wit. Edna’s family are grateful for the kind and compassionate care of Dr. L. Krantz, and the many staff of Keir Care Centre. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in Barrhead. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada (pancreaticcancercanada.ca).
