Blessed by a full life of 80 years, Mrs. Erna Hilda Wolfram, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother of Barrhead, AB, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2018. After a courageous battle with cancer, where she held her head high without complaint, she peacefully released her life to begin the next.
She is survived by her loving family of 3 children: Daryl (Angele), Larry (Linda), Darlene (Neil) Gagne; 9 grandchildren: Jeremy (Brandy), Philip (Vanessa), Aimee, Rhea, Stacey (Mike) Warrick, Alysa, Kurtis, Alexandria (Greg) Johnson, Sam; 13 great-grandchildren: Sienna, Coen, Houston, Raena, Ethan, Ailey, Wyatt, Maliah, Ashton, Mason, Aidan, Elliot, Breckyn. As well as other family and many dear friends.
Erna is predeceased by her loving husband, Harvey, of 53 years. Her parents, Emma and Fredrick Witzke, in-laws; Ferdinand and Natalie Wolfram, Keith and Jean Young, Ewald Wolfram.
Erna will always be remembered for her spunky spirit, her genuine love for people, a welcoming home, and a devoted love for all her family.
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, March 20 at 2:00 pm at the Barrhead Alliance Church.
