Eugene Anton Budney

January 21, 1939 – October 5, 2011

It is with great sadness the family of Eugene Anton Budney of Fort Assiniboine, AB announces his passing on October 5, 2011 at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Laurie of 36 years; his four children, Kim (Al) Doucette of Barrhead, AB, Margeory Graham of Sooke, BC, Jennifer (Jean) Rivet of Swan Hills, AB, Stuart (Crystal) Budney of Swan Hills, AB; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four brothers, Frank (Lorraine) Budney of Edmonton, AB, Andy Budney of Redwater, AB, Bernie Budney of Sherwood Park, AB, David (Anne) Budney of Sherwood Park, AB; and sister-in-law, Olga Budney of Leduc, AB; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. Eugene was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Pauline Budney; son Terry Budney; brother, Peter Budney; sisters-in-law, Darlene Budney and Barb Budney. A memorial service will be held on Friday October 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Fort Assiniboine Legion Hall with Pastor Oliver Smith officiating. Donations are gratefully accepted to the Barrhead Community Cancer Centre (4815 – 51 Avenue, Barrhead, AB T7N 1M1).
