Gregory Wayne Rentz

October 16, 1955 – September 27, 2012

In heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of Gregory Wayne Rentz, late of Barrhead, AB on September 27, 2012 at the age of 56 years. He is survived by his loving family; wife of 35 years, Linda; two children, Amanda (Jon) Koch of Barrhead, AB and Kristina Rentz of Airdrie, AB; two grandchildren, Jonah and Amelia Koch; three brothers and one sister; Ron (Connie) Rentz, Marvin (Ginette) Rentz, Dave (Shannon) Rentz, and Debbie (Mike) Anderson; as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Greg is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Gertie Rentz; and son, James. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Kevin Ree officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
