I just heard this terrible news two nights ago and I am completely floored by it. I am profoundly sorry; life can be so unfair. I truly wish I could do something more than just send condolences. All my very best to you and your family. 

Many, many times over the last 50 years I have thought about Joel and you, and your wonderful partnership. You were one of my very best friends all through grade school and I can never thank you enough for the help you gave my mom when you were at the CWCU.

Sad to hear this news. I did not know her well but she would come and pick berries at the property we owned in Barrhead. She just seemed like a very kind and caring person.

It is with such sadness to hear of Joel’s passing.  I had the pleasure of working with Joel in the Barrhead Victim Services Unit for many years along with the many advocates, Board members and R.C.M..P.  Joel was instrumental in starting the Barrhead Victim Services Unit in the early 90’s.  She was a person of great compassion, professionalism and integrity.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

So very sorry for your loss. Joel was a compassionate, caring, giving,  kind and gentle person. I always enjoyed visits and time shared with her. She gifted me  some cross stitch items and hand crafted Christmas tree ornaments in the past, which will now be ever more precious little reminders of her. We are all richer for having known Joel.
