

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lillian Victoria Butler (nee Batog) on Saturday, June 8, 2013. Lillian was born on May 25, 1932 in Nestow, Alberta. She is survived by her sister, Rose Hertle; brother, Edwin (Marion) Batog; children and grandchildren, Leocadia Williamson (Gordon and Bryon Williamson), Sylva (Allen) Inman (Timothy Butler and Miranda Butler-Jenkins), Dawson (Rosie McDonald) Butler (Christopher and Kristie Butler), Terra (Ron) O’Connor (Danielle, Rhonda, Bernard, and Shane O’Connor), George Butler (Ashley Butler), and Wilfred Butler (Victoria McCall); eight great-grandchildren, Andrew and Caleigh Butler, Rygel, Talon and Gunner Belcourt, Gracyn, Maximus, and Ryker Butler-Jenkins. Lillian is predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Dawson Henry Butler; her son-in-law, Alexander Williamson; great-granddaughter, Zaria McCall; sisters, Leocadia, Helen, Mildred, and Irene; brothers, Mike and John Onuski, Arthur, Frank, Joe, and Edward. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the St. Mary Abbot’s Anglican Church, Barrhead, AB, with Reverend Donna Willer officiating. Interment will follow in the Lac La Nonne Anglican Cemetery.
