Bob is survived by his wife Doreen of 67 years. Son Don, daughter Deb (Kevin Kushniruk), Steve (Lorraine), Barb (Wade Lysachok ). He is also lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Bob is predeceased by his parents Rosie and John Battenfelder , brothers John and Henry , two brother in- laws, 5 sister in- laws, 1 daughter in-law, 1 great granddaughter.
The family extends a special thank you for the love and kindness shown to Doreen and her family We also extend deep gratitude to Dr.Bernes and the wonderful staff at Keir centre for their care and kindness given to Bob.
Memorial Donations in Bob's memory maybe made to Barrhead Health care center auxiliary. (Keir Care/ Bob Battenfelder), Alzheimer Society of Alberta or Christ Lutheran Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church on Saturday February 7, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
