During her childhood, she enjoyed camping, playing sports, and found her love for adventure. From a young age, Alicia’s heart was rooted in family, a value that guided her throughout her life. She was first shaped into the person she became by her parents and her sister, Christie. She graduated from Kirby High School where she was a dancer for the Kirby Cougarettes. Alicia was a social butterfly who also had an innate intelligence in the classroom. She is remembered fondly by her childhood peers and friends. Alicia then attended Memphis State University where she continued her love for dance and earned her Bachelor's degree.
For the entirety of her adult life, she worked as a paralegal. Alicia’s loyalty as a person was displayed through her career long commitment to her employer and close friend, Andy Clarke. Throughout her years of work, Alicia made many long lasting friendships and was widely appreciated in her field.
Alicia’s most cherished accomplishment was raising her two children, Connor and Carson Haymon. Her favorite part of life was supporting her kids and spending as much time with them as possible. Alicia spent years cheering on Connor at his baseball games and watching Carson perform in her dance competitions. She took great pride in being a mother and was the epitome of a loving, caring mom.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Carson Haymon; her mother Donna Ziemba; her step-father Donald Ziemba; her sister, Christie Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, William Connor Haymon, and her father, Michael Forster.
Alicia will be remembered by her bold personality, unique sense of humor, and warm hearted disposition. She loved hard and would do just about anything for those that she held close. Alicia was an animal lover, a devoted friend, and an even better mother. There are no words to fully describe the impact she will leave on those that surrounded her. Although she will be missed terribly, she is now resting peacefully with her son and father.
Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home in Bartlett, TN from 9-10 AM on February 4th,
