Allen Sullivan Parnell, 84, of Bartlett, TN. Passed away Wednesday, November 6th at St. Francis Hospital Bartlett. He was a charter member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Mr. Parnell was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years on October 10, 2013. He is survived by his daughter, Tanya White (Jim) and his son, Ken Parnell, both of Memphis. Mr. Parnell also leaves behind two grandchildren, Ryan White (Stephanie) and Jenny Shearer (Bill) as well as two great-grandchildren, Taylor Hurdle and Luke Shearer. The family will receive friends this evening, November 8th from 5-7pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, November 9th at 10am at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to Broadmoor Baptist Church.
