Andrew Weir Watson

Andrew was born on June 1, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Bruce Weir & Carolyn Belle Dekle Watson. He had a Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of Michigan in Chemical Engineering. He was a registered Professional Engineer (PE) which he used during his careers at Dow Chemical Company, Georgia Pacific and finally Westlake Chemical.

He was a family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. They would spend time playing board games, especially Clue & Boggle. He was an avid comic book collector especially for the sci-fi genre and would attend many of their conventions. He loved music of all types, from jazz and rock to classical he would listen to anything at any time.

Mr. Watson is survived by his high school sweetheart Alyce Ann White Watson whom he has been married to for 52 years. Also to continue his memory are his children Sarah Ann (Nick) Mueller of Franklin, Wisconsin and Thomas (Nan) Watson of Memphis, Tennessee; his grandchildren Colin Andrew Mueller of Franklin, Wisconsin and Penelope (Penny) Qin Watson, Percival (Percy) Qin Watson and Paulina (Polly) Qin Watson all of Memphis; his twin sister and brother Alice (James) Comrie of Walker, Michigan and Keith (Lauren) Timbre of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; and his brothers Alexander Watson of Trenton, Michigan and Alan (Joan) Watson of Garden City, New York.

In lieu of flowers his family would like any donations in Andrew's name be sent to the American Cancer Society.
