Anne was a proud graduate of Waynesville Township High School (Class of 1951) in North Carolina and later attended Western Carolina Teachers College in Cullowhee, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Julius Jerome Boyd.
Anne is survived by her children, Julius Jerome Boyd Jr. (Tammy), George David Boyd (Cathy), and Nancy Boyd Fields (Michael); five grandchildren: Grace Anne Boyd, Allison Boyd Walker (Will), Jordan Boyd, Bethany Fields, and George David Boyd Jr.; and her sister, Nancy Davis.
Anne found joy in spending time with her grandchildren, working in her yard, catching up with friends, and caring for her beloved beagles. She was also an enthusiastic fan of the Memphis Grizzlies and especially loved cheering for her favorite player, Ja Morant.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Anne.
