Daughter of the late Juana Paula Mansabe Nieves and Francisco Jose Diaz Barreto of Venezuela. Arelis is survived by: her husband, Barry McNamara; her 2 sons Carlos Jose Garcia and his wife Kim, Jose Manuel Guerrero and his wife Carmen; her 4 grandchildren Brandon, Teresa, Joaquin, and Jose Jr, and her 6 sisters Marianela, Marielba, Sergia, Ana, Evelyn, and Mariana.
Arelis was a devoted mother and wife, a loving grandmother, and a loyal friend. She had an adventurous and visionary spirit. Her light and vibrant attitude was as contagious as her laugh. She was always willing to lend a helping hand in whatever way she was needed. As a single mother she worked tirelessly to better her life and her son’s lives against all odds and ultimately immigrated to the United States, making sure to bring her 2 sons.
She was a hard-working entrepreneur, who helped to start and grow multiple small businesses and coached many people in sales. She leaves behind a legacy of entrepreneurial spirit and hard work, and one of love and memories for her friends and family to treasure. In her free time, she loved to make Jewelry, sing in the choir at church, travel, dance, and spend time with her kids, grandkids, and friends.
