Arthur L. Disney

He was born to the late Howard and Lela Disney on July 8th, 1931 in Barnum, Iowa. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Genevieve Disney; his daughter, Patti Disney Ray; his sister, Billie Dellinger; and his brother, Ronald Disney.

Arthur served in the United States Navy for 20 years and retired. He also taught at the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry for over 20 years as a professor. Arthur was a loving father, grandfather, and GGPA. He helped his family and anyone he could and was always there for anything they needed. He was a perfectionist at giving everything for his family.

Arthur is survived by his daughters, Denise Disney, Terri Jones (Danny), Cheryl Pellegra (Mike); son, Mike Disney; grandchildren, Shannon Pavesic (Pete), David Padgett, Jennifer McMurry (Jamie), Natalie Yarbro (Chuck), Erica Daniel (Nick), Nathan Pellegra (Amy), Lindsey Dyer (Ricky), Luke Pellegra (Brynn), Rebekah Disney, Dale Disney, Jessica Roberts (Josh), Matt Ray; 23 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter, Wesleigh Kaye on the way.

Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 28th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 1st at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.
