

Benjamin Joseph( B.J.) Vines, III, 27, of Chattanooga, formerly of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was employed with the Steamfitters Union Local 614. Mr. Vines is survived by his mother and step-father, Cheryl and Larry Yarbro of Milan, TN; father and step-mother, Ben (Jr.) and Lisa Chaney Vines of Cordova; two sisters, Gelina Vines of San Antonio. TX and Hope Neyman of Milan, TN; four brothers, Daniel Hauser of Bartlett, Andrew Clemmer, also of Bartlett, Alex Thompson of Nashville and Max “Jax” Younger, III of Cordova; grandmother, Geneva Vines of Memphis; grandparents, Danny and Eileen Hendrix of Hawaii; uncle, William (Brandy) Vines of Cordova; and aunt and uncle, Caroline and Torsak Vimoktayon; and uncle, Frank S. Chaney, III of Hawaii. He was preceded in death by a sister, McCall Chaney Younger; grandparents, Betty and Sherill Ballard; grandfathers, Benjamin J. Vines, Sr. and Frank S. Chaney, Jr. ; and two aunts Sandy Green and Wendy Sweatt. A celebration of Mr. Vines’ life will be on Saturday afternoon, July 5 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Hope Presbyterian Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Rd.
