Bernette Elizabeth Junkersfeld Lloyd, 87, of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013. She was originally from Pocahontas, AR, was the Valedictorian of her high school class and was an avid piano player who enjoyed entertaining others. Mrs. Lloyd was also a communicant of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, a member of the Ladies of Charity, Amro Music Club and the Fun Group at Holy Spirit. Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her daughter, Peggy Lloyd of Cordova; three sons, Kenny Lloyd of Cordova, Andrew (Debra) Lloyd of Memphis and Mark (Martha) Lloyd of Lake Butler, FL.; her twin sister, Berneice Thielemier of Cordova; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Caroline B. Junkersfeld; a son, Gregory W. Lloyd and six siblings. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Joseph M. Lloyd. Family and friends will gather from 9 a.m. until Mass at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 31 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Cremation and inurnment will follow at a later date.
