Betty Booth, 74, of Bartlett passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, Tuesday, September 15, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Minnie Stimpson and a brother, Louie (Sonny) Stimpson of Hughes, Arkansas. Betty is survived by four sons, Danny (Sherree) Chrestman of Marion, AR, Henry Booth, III of Cordova, TN, Glen (Debbie) Booth of Lakeland, TN and Chris Booth of Cordova, TN; a sister, Barbara (Donny) Chrestman of Hughes, AR; brothers, Don (Dumpy) Stimpson of St. Louis, MO and Andy (Kristi) Stimpson of West Helena, AR; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Methodist Hospice for all their wonderful care and concern. A celebration of Betty’s life and a visitation will be this evening, Thursday, September 17 from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday morning, September 18 in Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial gifts be made to either Methodist Hospice, 6415 Quince Rd, Memphis or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
