Betty Seay

Betty S. Seay, age 89, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. Betty was born January 25, 1932 to the late Harold and Ivy Mae Smith. Betty was an member and a founder of Faith Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher for 40 years. She graduated from Blue Mountain College and went on to teach at Whitehaven Highschool and Sothern Baptist Educational Center. Betty enjoyed spending time with family and being around her grandchildren .

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Seay.

Betty is survived by her sons, John Seay and Jimmy Seay, her grandchildren; Matthew Seay, Rachel Delcoco (Zach), Christian Seay (Annie), Olivia Seay, Ashland Arnold (Gage), Anna Kate Arnold (Nathan), Cameron Seay, her great grandchildren; Thomas, Virginia, and Henry Delcoco and Stone Seay, her brother, Harold Smith, her nephews; Robert Seay (Julie) Bruster and Lee Smith, and her great nephews; Will, Ben and John Seay.

A visitation for Betty will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133 followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
