Bobby Britt, 77, died Saturday, December 3, 2011 in his Bartlett home. Mr. Britt was a member of Buntyn Presbyterian Church. He retired as a Division Chief, after 33 years serving the Memphis Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol Britt; his two daughters, Janet Britt Dennison (Brent) of Olive Branch; and Cynthia Britt Herring (T.J.) of Germantown; four grandchildren, Justin Nelson, Megan Dennison, Jackson Herring, and Britt Herring. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Britt Nelson. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett on Monday beginning at 12:30. Funeral Services begin at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Memphis Memory Gardens. The family requests that memorials be sent to either Buntyn Presbyterian Church or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
