Carol Ferguson, 75, passed away on October 4, 2015. Carol was the loving wife of Jim Ferguson. Carol was retired from Herff College of Engineering at the University of Memphis where she worked for many years as an academic advisor. She is survived by her husband, Jim, and her step-sister, Pat Beaver of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly: David Ferguson, Rebekah Ferguson, Reed Ferguson of Efland, NC; Betsy Ferguson of Collierville, TN; Christopher Beaver, Spencer Beaver, Harold Beaver, and Addison Beaver of Nashville, TN; and Laura Chase, William Chase, and Benjamin Chase of Lakeland, FL. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 12:30 until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.
