She was a lifelong Memphian and a graduate of Madonna Day School. She was a member of Shady Grove Presbyterian Church and also attended Eastside Church of God. She was an active participant at Martha's Manor for several years.
She leaves her guardians and first cousins Jim and Sandy Welman who cared for her following the death of her parents. She also leaves behind her aunt Carolyn Trotter of Camerillo, California and her aunt Kathleen Welman along with numerous cousins from Memphis. The family asks in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2 pm followed by a celebration of life service at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133 Wednesday, October 18th at 2:00 pm. www.memphisfuneralhome.net
