She is preceded in death by Parents Leon George, & Nellie George, Husband

Ronald J Johnson, & Son Larry E Armstrong, along with Brothers Calvin George,

James George, Vernon George, & Kenneth George, Sisters Dorothy Smith, &

Barbara Jenkins. She leaves behind Son Shawn Armstrong, Daughters Ronda Welman,

& Emily Capps, along with Sister Alma Staples, & Brothers John George, Herman George,

& Danny Overton. Carolyn leaves behind 10 Grandchildren Dalton, Storme, Brooke, Tyler,

Hunter, Breanna, Kaleb, Patience, Keely, & Daniel, & along with 6 Great Grandchildren.

Carolyn was 9 of 11 children. She was well known as Nanna by close friends & family.

She was a wonderful Mother & Grandmother who Loved her Family. Her hobbies were

Reading & Loved to travel with her Family to the Beaches & Mountains. Her Presence & Love

will be missed but her spirit will live in us Forever. We Love You Mom...

Memorials may be made to Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in honor of Carolyn.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. followed by funeral service at 10:00 AM A committal service will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133.
