Carolyn was a bold, fun-loving spitfire of a woman. She always spoke her mind, and she always gave her love freely. Her life was spent putting others before herself. Her passions in life were her family, her friends, and her students. Professionally, she devoted her life to kids with special needs, and it brought her immense joy to see their successes in life. Personally, she spent as much time as she could gathering with her family and friends laughing and making memories. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and experiencing what life had to offer.
She was preceded in death by her first two husbands Charles Edward Hayden and William Ernest Strange. She is survived by her third husband Wayne Lee Randall, her daughters Jennifer Hayden Tews, Casey Hayden Borchart, Courtney Strange Bryan, her step-daughter Mary Helen Randall, and her older brother Carroll Davis. She leaves behind four grandchildren: three granddaughters Alyssa Tews, Kayla Tews, and Ella Bryan and one grandson Carsen Bryan.
