Catherine Vescovo Holcomb died peacefully at her home on July 22, 2014 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Clara Vescovo, her sister Antonnia Mobberly, and her beloved husband Harold with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage. She is survived by her son Tom, daughter and son-in-law Pat and Russ Bennett, sister Rose Gaia of Kingman, Arizona, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.She was a devoted wife and mother, and a steadfast and compassionate friend. Catherine worked for over 35 years with the FedEx St. Jude Classic retiring in 2000 at the age of 75. She genuinely enjoyed her career and treasured the many friendships that she developed though her association with the tournament. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N. Germantown Road. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:00 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 6529 Stage Road, Bartlett, TN 38134.
