Charles “Chuck” Evano, Sr. 73, of Middleton, TN formerly of Lakeland, TN passed away at his home Thursday, June 26, 2014. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Mr. Evano is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Betty Evano; daughter, Shirley Evano (Chris) of Lakeland, TN; son, Charles Evano, Jr. (Lisa) of Little Elm, TX; grandsons, Connor & Aidan Evano of Little Elm, TX; sisters, Millie Evano and Marge Gumbita of Pennsylvania; brother, Joe Evano of Pennsylvania; his dog, Coco, cats, Mikie & Gareth and all of his chickens. The family will have a gathering from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN to honor Chuck’s life. In lieu of flowers the family requests the memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
