To the Gregory Family: I pray you will allow the memories of Mr.Gregory to sustain you. I worked with him at DHS. He was so proud of you Mrs. Gregory & your work in the ministry.Trust GOD & rest assured,you will see him again. Take care and God Bless.

Lieutenant Gregory was my first field supervisor out at the old East Precinct on Flicker.
He was a very knowledgeable man and an effective instructor for young rookies like myself. Always with a straight answer to a direct question. He wanted us to succeed and be the best we could be.
We always knew we could count on him when the time came.
He was one of those rare people who genuinely cared about the men under his command. He always wanted to know what you were doing on and off the job in order to help any way he could.
He didn't have to make you do the right thing, you simply wanted to do it for him. As a result the citizens of Memphis got the best service possible...which is what he wanted to accomplish.
I lost track of him over the years, but I am told he always asked other officers about us over the years, and was proud of what we had accomplished.
In all candor you could not ask for a better guy to have keeping track of you. We all went home safe at the end of the shift because of his guidance. A true policeman's policeman in every since of the word.
 Heaven has one of the best today.

You were such a great friend to all of us during the years we were blessed to have been able to work with you Mr. Gregory! You always made us smile and we all had some great work times together. It was never a dull moment. We knew how much your family meant to you and they are in our prayers during this sad time. You will be missed but  never forgotten!

Mrs. Gregory and family, you have my deepest condolences with the passing of Mr. Gregory. I worked with him at DHS after he retired from Police Dept. He came in as Director of Investigations . I have good memories as being one of his supervisors.Rest in Peace, Mr. Gregory.

My memories of Charles and his family start at the age of 8yrs old on Rayner St in Memphis. Charles was 9yrs old and we lived next door for 10 years. He was my best friend and I followed him every where and we shared all of the good and bad things that young boys can get into. There are many stories that could be told, but for now I would like to say good by to Charles, my friend, and thank him for making my world a better place!

Please accept my condolences upon the death of your loved one.  Charlie and I worked together at DHS for a number of years, and I was honored to have known him.

Charlie was a special friend as we worked together for a number of years.  He will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.  My wife and I have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss you Master Charles !!!!

Through the saddness and tears, I hope that you remember the great life that was lived and the happy memories throughout the years.  Allen, you lost a best friend and confidant, but know that he is still here with you, watching over you and whispering support and advice that you can feel in your heart.
