

Charles Pearson Hogan, 84, of Bartlett, owner of Charlies Meat Market, passed away on Saturday November 7, 2015. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as a Corporal in Germany and was a member of Gideons International. Mr. Hogan, the husband of Ruth Murray Hogan, also leaves a daughter, Neina R. (Brian) Moore of Liberty Hill, TX; two sons, Charles Pearson Hogan, III of Memphis and Dale (Leslie) Hogan of Germantown; nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Charlie, Sarah, Emily, Spencer and Lily Hogan and Kyle, Ryan and Ross Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucinda Stewart and Charles Pearson Hogan and six brothers, Jason Hogan, Thomas Hogan, John Adams, Robert Adams, Daniel Adams and Wilbur Adams and three sisters, Charlene Granoski, Nadine Cozart and Anita Jett. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, November 15, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. from 2-4 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon at the funeral home with interment following in Memorial Gardens.
